HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR DTG PRINTED CLOTHING?
If you want your DTG print to last as long as possible on your shirt, hoodie, or other clothing, we encourage you to read and apply our advice:
Wash clothes with a print on the left side. In general, it’s worth washing all clothes this way. This protects the outer part of the clothing from the drum’s friction and excessive color fading. It also protects the print from damage that can be caused by zippers, buttons, etc.
Adjust the program and washing agents. When washing clothes with a print, remember that the gentler the washing agents and method, the longer the print will last on the clothes. We recommend setting the spin cycle to 600 revolutions per minute. Do not use bleach directly on the print. It is better to use it locally, avoiding the print as much as possible.
Wash at a maximum of 40°C.
Do not dry clothes with a DTG print in a tumble dryer. If you expose them to sunlight to dry, turn them inside out.
Be careful how you iron. Remember to iron every piece of clothing on the left side. Here we care not only about the print but also about the color. In case of using too high temperature, the material will burn on the left side. Under no circumstances iron directly on the print. We recommend not ironing clothes with a print on maximum power.
By following our recommendations, the print should be visually pleasing for about 50 washes.
